Gustavo A. Yglesias Costa Rican Citizen - President

Mr..Yglesias is a Costa Rican businessman with a very successful history as a major real estate developer in Central America. He began his career graduating with a Bachelor of Science from Colegio de Los Ángeles in San Jose, Costa Rica and completed his education with studies in architecture from Georgia Tech in Atlanta, Georgia USA. Gustavo Yglesias is a project development specialist who has taken many major developments from the concept and design stage to the completed product. Some of the projects that he has participated in are Centro Dent (today Mall San Pedro), El Pueblo Shopping Centre, Club Internacional Colon, Hotel Isla Jesuita, and Hotel Herradura. In addition he was the founding director and developer of the Cariari complex, which includes the Hotel Cariari, Apartotel Villas de Cariari, the Cariari Golf & Country Club and over 500 acres of residential development. His accomplishments are well acknowledged and respected by government and industry leaders through out Central and South America. Mr. Yglesias was honored in 2002 by the Tourism Professionals Association of Costa Rica (ACOPROT) and presented by the president of Costa Rica with the Costa Rican National Tourism Development Award for life achievements. Mr. Yglesias is President of the company and accountable for the corporations strategic alliances with industry, finance, and government leaders. He also heads up the design team for development and implementation of new projects.
 

Luis Fernando Yglesias MBA Costa Rican Citizen - CEO

Mr. Yglesias holds an MBA in Export Industry Development from NYU, USA and an MBA in General Management from Fidelitas University in Costa Rica.  Mr. Yglesias has over twenty years experience in international business management working on strategic planning, operational analysis, organizational set-up, marketing strategies and the export import business in Europe, USA, and Latin America. During his career he held varying positions in the hospitality and tourism industry and specialized in the restructuring and management of hotel operations for large facilities located in Costa Rica. As a principal of the Yglesias Development Group he has been instrumental in the successful development of projects of varying nature including major housing projects, resort hotel complexes, commercial office buildings and shopping centers in Costa Rica. Mr. Yglesias is the CEO for the corporation responsible for management and administration of the companies operation including construction and sub-contractor services for all projects.

Darrel W. Simonson Ph.D. Canadian Citizen

Director – Marketing and Business Development

Mr. Simonson has been involved in the marketing and sales of real estate investments and land development projects in Costa Rica since 1996. During this period he has built strong relationships with many local Costa Rican, Canadian and American entrepreneurs, developers, and professional service providers. His focus and vision has been devoted to working at establishing the groundwork for projects in the areas of real estate and infrastructure development for the housing sector of the country. Mr. Simonson has been actively working since January of 2001 to bring these projects to Costa Rica. Mr. Simonson holds a Ph.D. in Business Administration and has over twenty years of management and marketing experience. Mr. Simonson worked extensively in corporate Canada before relocating to Costa Rica. Mr. Simonson is a Director of the company and responsible for the communication and liaison between new and current investors, clients and funding entities involved with the company’s projects. In addition, he is responsible for the overall development, guidance, and management of the company’s marketing and sales team, the company’s real estate division, and the marketing consulting services provided for clients of the corporation’s project and construction management division.

José Antonio (Tony) Quesada G.    Costa Rican Citizen

Director - Arquitectural Design

Mr. Quesada is the President and founder of Arqueco International Ltda., a Costa Rican full service architectural design company with a very successful history in Central America, South America, Mexico and parts of the United States. He began his career as an architect in 1962 attending the University of Florida, Gainsville and graduated with a degree in architectural design in 1965. He then spent a year studying with a special design group at the University of Iberoamericana in Mexico in 1966. Tony then decided to pursue his Bachelors degree and returned to the University of Florida, Gainsville for an additional four years, graduating in 1970. During those four years he did his postgraduate work in Urban Planning and Geography, and also attained levels of expertise in Recreational Tourism Planning. In addition to his knowledge of general and landscape architecture his experience base extends to cover areas such as civil engineering, marine engineering, electrical engineering and mechanical engineering. Mr. Quesada is a member of the College of Engineers and Architects of Costa Rica, a member of the Federation of International Landscape Architects, and a member of the Chamber of Architectural Consultants of Costa Rica. It should be noted that the environment has always been the key for Mr. Quesada’s design technique and based on this methodology he has initiated many well respected and internationally recognized environmentally friendly projects now operational in the country. Mr. Quesada heads up the design team for the company and is responsible for the development and implementation of architectural services for all new and current projects

Thomas N. Diehl  US citizen with Costa Rican Residencia

Consultant – Realty Services Division

Mr. Diehl is a Real Estate and Business Development Consultant who has been active in the Costa Rican business community since 1996. He has built a solid reputation as a real estate professional working extensively in the Costa Rican realty industry as the owner and founder of Associate Real Estate Brokers of Costa Rica. He has also established excellent credentials as a casino consultant responsible for the planning, acquisition, project implementation, operational setup and management of many popular casinos in Costa Rica. Before relocating to Costa Rica, Mr. Diehl’s career achievements span a period of over 36 years and have included positions of management and ownership in the real estate, marketing, travel, restaurant, hotel and resort industries with firm roots established in Orlando, Florida. Mr. Diehl provides real estate consulting services for the Costa Rican Land Development Group's real estate services division. He works closely with the management team in conjunction with the marketing of our major housing projects, commercial use properties, and resort properties in Costa Rica.
